About

I’m Daniel Long, a programmer and senior in high school. Though I already know how to program, I’m interested in completing a major in computer science in college. My secondary interest, physics, stems from wanting to apply my programming experience as a tool to other fields – to do interdisciplinary research. I see physics, especially computational physics, as both interesting and an excellent source of problems to solve. I want to pursue this type of interdisciplinary research extensively during my undergraduate education, and potentially go on to earn a doctorate.
